How to get internet in Mexico without a difficult arrival

The easiest way to get internet in Mexico is to install the eSIM before flying and select it for data on arrival. For most travellers, 10 GB at €32.99 gives comfortable room. Three GB at €11.99 can be enough for maps and messages with accommodation Wi-Fi.
A hotel changes the transfer time while the traveller returns from Isla Mujeres. Data delivers the message; a stored ferry ticket and full address keep a congested network from blocking the plan.
Internet in Mexico must cover the space between hotel and excursion
Hotel Wi-Fi in Cancún or Mexico City does not follow the road to Chichén Itzá, an island ferry or a cenote. A travel eSIM avoids an arrival purchase; a Mexican SIM may suit voice needs, while roaming depends on the home contract.
