How to get internet in China without a difficult arrival

The easiest way to get internet in China is to install the eSIM before flying and select it for data on arrival. For most travellers, 10 GB at €13.99 gives comfortable room. Three GB at €5.90 can be enough for maps and messages with accommodation Wi-Fi.
At the station, the traveller opens a stored ticket and shows the Chinese address. Data supports available searches, yet the journey continues even if a foreign app fails.
Application preparation is part of getting internet in China
An eSIM, local SIM, roaming and Wi-Fi can supply a connection, but none can promise every service. China controls internet access and some platforms are blocked or variable.
Install suitable tools, store Chinese addresses and tickets, and keep another communication route before departure. A local SIM requires an in-person carrier-shop process with accepted identification. The travel eSIM avoids that visit but offers neither a local number nor an application guarantee.
