Is there an unlimited eSIM for China? What you really get

There is no unlimited full-speed plan for China. The daily pass provides 1 GB each day, then slows to 1 Mbps; 15 days costs €18.90. Choose a fixed 10 or 20 GB bundle if you would rather use the allowance whenever you need it.
A work call can use the available pool when its platform works. If that service is inaccessible, moving from ten to twenty gigabytes does not solve the operational problem.
More data does not remove internet-access limits in China
Zas lists fixed Chinese bundles and a daily pass with reduced-speed continuation; neither guarantees unlimited full-speed data. A 20 GB pool and a daily allowance solve different usage patterns, but neither changes service restrictions or promises a particular connection path.
A phone may display 5G while an application remains unavailable, or retain data while losing signal inside a building. Compare the full-speed allowance, later speed, connection sharing and validity, then keep permitted tools and essential files offline.

Do not buy the word unlimited. Check how much data runs at normal speed, what happens afterwards and whether connection sharing is allowed. In China, prepare the apps, tickets and Chinese addresses you will need before flying.
Before flying: prepare these details
- Find the full-speed allowance instead of relying on the word unlimited.
- Check the reduced speed and when the allowance resets.
- Confirm whether connection sharing is allowed and shares the same limit.
- Separate mobile signal from access to a restricted service.
Save tickets, addresses in Chinese and offline translation. Having mobile data does not ensure that every app you normally use will be available in China. Neither a daily pass nor 20 GB replaces that preparation when the signal disappears.
