Cheap eSIM for Türkiye: how much should you spend?

Updated on 24 August 2026

In short

Zas's cheapest eSIM for Türkiye costs €4.99 and includes 3 GB for 30 days. It is a sensible buy for maps, messages and bookings with frequent Wi-Fi. If you will use social media every day, I recommend 10 GB at €8.99 so the data lasts until the return journey.

A long weekend using metro, ferries and hotel messages may fit the entry bundle when video stays on Wi-Fi. Four extra Cappadocia days with daily posts create a different calculation.

Türkiye's low entry price still needs a daily-use check

The smallest bundle is inexpensive within this destination group, but three gigabytes are not automatically the best buy for every route. Istanbul accommodation Wi-Fi can handle large downloads; Cappadocia and overnight transfers create more reliance on mobile data.

Compare the small and medium pools by social and calling habits, then compare either with the day pass only after reading its speed reduction. A genuine saving leaves enough data for the correct return airport.

The €4.99 plan is cheapest only if it lasts. When choosing between 3 and 10 GB, the €8.99 option is usually calmer for a trip with daily social media. In Türkiye, leave room for the correct airport and the Cappadocia transfer.

Before flying: prepare these details

  • Download maps, tickets and entertainment before departure.
  • Pause cloud backups and automatic app updates on mobile data.
  • Reserve part of the allowance for the return transfer and last booking changes.
  • Download Cappadocia or coastal routes before intercity travel.

Before travelling to Cappadocia or along the coast, save the route and accommodation name. You can then continue when the signal changes on the road. That leaves the smaller bundle for messages, changes and the journey home.

Why not always choose the cheapest Turkish eSIM?

Daily social use, calls and a longer route may exceed it. Useful cost includes staying connected for the final transfer.

Does the low-cost day pass keep full speed all day?

No. It has a daily allowance and a stated slower speed after that full-speed limit. Read both before comparing.

Can 3 GB last for 7 days?

Yes, with downloaded maps, messaging and Wi-Fi for video and photo uploads. Choose 10 GB if you post every day.

Is the price a monthly subscription?

No. You buy a prepaid allowance with a maximum validity; it does not renew because some days remain.

Is a local SIM always cheaper?

Not necessarily. Compare the final price, allowance, validity and any registration required at purchase.
