Is there an unlimited eSIM for the United Arab Emirates? What you really get

Updated on 24 August 2026

In short

There is no unlimited full-speed plan for the United Arab Emirates. The daily pass provides 1 GB each day, then slows to 1 Mbps; 7 days costs €18.90. Choose a fixed 10 or 20 GB bundle if you would rather use the allowance whenever you need it.

A laptop on the shared connection downloads a large update in the hotel. Watching the counter and leaving heavy work on Wi-Fi protects the pool for the Abu Dhabi day trip.

The UAE combines fixed bundles with a limited daily pass

The current UAE offer combines fixed bundles with a daily pass. A 20 GB pool ends at exhaustion and is shared by connected devices; the pass renews an allowance each day and then continues at the stated slower speed.

Neither is unlimited full-speed data or the same as changing local tourist offers from du or e&. Compare full-speed allowance, full-speed volume, connection sharing, reset timing and validity. A desert excursion still depends on coverage.

Do not buy the word unlimited. Check how much data runs at normal speed, what happens afterwards and whether connection sharing is allowed. In the UAE, check calling apps and save the desert route before departure.

Before flying: prepare these details

  • Find the full-speed allowance instead of relying on the word unlimited.
  • Check the reduced speed and when the allowance resets.
  • Confirm whether connection sharing is allowed and shares the same limit.
  • Store the exact terminal, hotel entrance and pickup point.

Download the route before driving into the desert or between emirates. If you need a calling app, check its availability before travelling and keep another contact method. Neither a daily pass nor 20 GB replaces that preparation when the signal disappears.

Do the UAE 20 GB renew daily?

No. It is one fixed allowance. Daily renewal belongs to the separate pass, with its own allowance and later speed.

Is a local unlimited tourist plan the same product?

No. Compare registration, network, full-speed allowance, speed, connection sharing, validity and services under the current offer.

Is the eSIM for the United Arab Emirates truly unlimited?

Not at full speed: it includes 1 GB each day, then slows to 1 Mbps until the next day.

What happens when I use the allowance?

The daily pass continues at 1 Mbps; fixed bundles end when their gigabytes are used.

Does sharing the connection use the plan faster?

It can. Your phone and every connected device draw from the same data balance.
