Is there an unlimited eSIM for Egypt? What you really get
Updated on
In short
There is no unlimited full-speed plan for Egypt. The daily pass provides 1 GB each day, then slows to 1 Mbps; 7 days costs €19.90. Choose a fixed 10 or 20 GB bundle if you would rather use the allowance whenever you need it.
A family shares connection sharing each evening and uses the shared allowance faster. During a no-service excursion, the stored guide number and route matter more than the remaining allowance.
Egypt offers fixed bundles and a daily pass with a slowdown
Egypt has fixed bundles and a daily pass. Fixed bundles end after 3, 10 or 20 GB; the pass renews its allowance each day and then continues at the stated slower speed.
A larger pool may suit concentrated work, video or connection sharing, while the pass limits each day's fast consumption. On desert or Sinai roads, coverage may be the constraint instead. Keep maps and contacts offline.

| Option | Data at available speed | Afterwards | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7-day daily pass | 1 GB/day | 1 Mbps until the next allowance | €19.90 |
| 30 days · 20 GB | 20 GB total | Package ends | €40.99 |
Do not buy the word unlimited. Check how much data runs at normal speed, what happens afterwards and whether connection sharing is allowed. In Egypt, save maps before a desert road or a trip into Sinai.
Before flying: prepare these details
- Find the full-speed allowance instead of relying on the word unlimited.
- Check the reduced speed and when the allowance resets.
- Confirm whether connection sharing is allowed and shares the same limit.
- Do not turn three listed networks into three guaranteed simultaneous connections.
Before a desert, Sinai or remote road excursion, download the map and keep the guide's or driver's phone number outside a single app. Neither a daily pass nor 20 GB replaces that preparation when the signal disappears.
Is there slower data after the Egypt bundle is used?
Fixed bundles end at exhaustion. The daily pass continues at its stated slower speed after that day's allowance is used.
Do 20 GB guarantee desert connectivity?
No. Allowance cannot change network availability. Store maps, bookings and contacts for remote areas.
Is the eSIM for Egypt truly unlimited?
Not at full speed: it includes 1 GB each day, then slows to 1 Mbps until the next day.
What happens when I use the allowance?
The daily pass continues at 1 Mbps; fixed bundles end when their gigabytes are used.
Does sharing the connection use the plan faster?
It can. Your phone and every connected device draw from the same data balance.
