Cheap eSIM for the United States
From 2,90 € for 7 days with 1 GB, and 5,90 € for 15 days with 3 GB, which is what almost everyone buys. Final price, no charges on arrival. To put the number in context: Movistar's daily rate for the United States is 6,05 € a day, checked on 22 August 2026, so a single day of roaming costs more than the eSIM for the entire week.

One day of roaming. One. That's what costs more than carrying data for the whole week. And the worst of it is that you don't choose that day: you choose it the moment you switch your phone on after landing and some app or other decides to sync in the background.
The prices, straight up
| Plan | Price | Works out at |
|---|---|---|
| 7 days · 1 GB | 2,90 € | 0,41 € a day |
| 15 days · 3 GB | 5,90 € | 0,39 € a day |
| 30 days · 5 GB | 6,90 € | 0,23 € a day |
| 30 days · 10 GB | 11,90 € | 0,40 € a day |
| 30 days · 20 GB | 20,90 € | 0,70 € a day |
Look at the third row. The 30-day plan with 5 GB costs 6,90 €, one euro more than the 15-day one, and gives you two more gigabytes and twice the validity. It's the sensible buy for almost any trip longer than a week.
Five ways not to overpay
- Compare the 30-day plan with the 15-day one before buying: the long one often comes out better.
- Don't buy more gigabytes than you'll use. A normal two weeks is between 2 and 4 GB.
- Turn off data roaming on your Spanish SIM before take-off, not on landing.
- If several of you are travelling, one big shared plan usually beats several small ones.
- Distrust any “unlimited” without a number: there's always a threshold, and if they don't publish it, it's no oversight.
Does the price include taxes?
Yes. The price you see on the product page is the price you pay: no handling fees, no charges appearing at the last step.
Is there anything cheaper than an eSIM?
Getting by on Wi-Fi alone, which is free and works badly in the street. Buying an American SIM over there costs more than these plans and demands time and a counter. For a short trip, there's no cheaper option than a data eSIM.
What if I have plan left over?
Plans don't renew themselves or charge anything on expiry. If you have days or gigabytes left over, they simply lapse. Better that than coming up short in a country where getting reconnected costs 6,05 € a day.
